A Great Success Story

An educational opportunity
enjoyed by people from two states

Linking you to wellness knowledge in our region

People found a great amount of helpful information about Gluten
Intolerance with internationally known nutritionist Bruce Homstead talking
with you at Aldenville Chiropractic Wellness.  Family, friends, neighbors,
colleagues and associates gathered to gain detailed help with this condition
that is becoming more prevalent, affecting 40-60% of our population.  It was
shocking to discover how many foods, medications and even possibly
medical procedures may expose patients to glucose.

“Many health issues are connected with gluten intolerance,” states Bruce
Homstead, licensed nutritionist.  He practices as a consultant to hospitals,
nursing homes, schools, athletic teams and private clients.  He discussed
the long list of gluten intolerance related exposure and problems
at Aldenville Chiropractic Wellness, 755 Grattan St. Chicopee, MA

Bruce let attendees know the connection of gluten intolerance to allergies,
irritable bowel syndrome, gas, bloating, autoimmune diseases, headache,
thyroid conditions, weight gain, and depression.

He also discussed the links to Type 1 diabetes, spontaneous abortions,
and multiple sclerosis.

Bruce practices a functional medicine approach to nutrition.  This means he
looks at the interrelationship of all the systems of the body.  He initiates fact-
finding based on broad detailed questions.

TMJ Pain Relief

The tempromandibular joint (TMJ) is a joint with

a disc located just in the front  of the ear (see picture).
It is the most used joint in the body.  You use your
TMJ when you chew, swallow, talk and yawn.

You may hear a clicking, crunching or grinding sound when using your jaw.
You may even bite the inside of your mouth when eating.  These are some of
the indications of a TMJ problem.

Many symptoms may be caused by TMJ dysfunction.  Symptoms you may
notice are pain in your jaw, face, neck, ear or head. You may have headaches,
even migraines.  You may feel dizzy; have ringing in the ears, decreased
hearing or a sensation of pressure or fullness in the ears.

TMJ pain may be caused by stress, a whiplash injury, a fall, tooth loss, surgery
and dental work.  Up to 78% of Americans may have TMJ problems. Many have
sought treatment unsuccessfully for years for the many manifestations of TMJ.

The TMJ joint may become misaligned.  Misaligned joints in the neck may also
contribute to TMJ pain.  Additionally, the 68 pairs of muscles that surround the
TMJ must function properly to allow painless motion of your TMJ.

Drs. Charles and Anastacia Samson are chiropractic physicians trained to
restore function and health to the joints, nerves and muscles.  With an
examination to determine the cause of your TMJ pain, they can provide gentle
chiropractic adjustments to realign the joints causing the dysfunction.

Myofascial therapy and cold laser treatment with your gentle chiropractic
adjustments could help relieve the neuromusculoskeletal pain.

Call 413 532-1040 now to make your appointment and start on the
    road to TMJ pain relief.
